Baptism - Infants and Young Children

Baptisms occur monthly at Holy Family, and are done in English and Spanish. For your child to be baptized at the church, you must do the following:

  1. Register for the month's baptism at the parish office
  2. Pay the baptismal stipend ($60 per child)
  3. Attend baptismal classes (this is required of both you and your child's primary godparents)

When registering, please bring a copy of your child's birth or hospital certificate. In addition, if you can, please fill out the English or Spanish registration form, and bring it with you when registering. This will quicken registration. For more information, please contact the parish office.

Note: You will need Abode Reader to access the registration forms.

Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) is a process whereby adults can learn more about their faith and the Catholic Church. Persons can come with their questions and concerns and be welcome by others who also are on a journey of faith. Whether one is seeking baptism, profession of faith into the Catholic Community, full communion with the Catholic Church, or are returning after a long absence this is the place for you.

Sessions for RCIA begin periodically during the year. For more information, please contact the parish office.

Confirmation

Confirmation is the sacrament in which Christ sends the Holy Spirit to help us become mature adult Christians, thus completing the process of Christian initiation begun at Baptism. Adults wishing to be confirmed are invited to participate in our RCIA process. The High School Confirmation program is for all young people who are juniors in high school or older who wish to deepen their commitment to Christ as adults. It must be the young adult's own decision to be a part of the program. This program is offered every other year. For more information, please call the parish office

Marriage

The sacrament of matrimony is one that requires a great deal of time and planning. As a result, it is recommended that you begin the marriage process six months in advance of your proposed wedding date. To help you, please use the marriage preparation checklist.

To begin the marriage process, please contact the parish office.

Note: You will need Adobe Reader to access the checklist.

Annointing of the Sick

Whenever one is seriously ill or entering the hospital, please contact the parish office so we can include them in our prayers, and arrange for the Sacrament when appropriate. In addition, a communal celebration of the Sacrament of the Sick occurs on the 2nd Sunday of every month. For more information, please contact the parish office.

Religious Vocation

Please contact Father Bloom, Father Red, or Deacon Ted at the parish office for information concerning Holy Orders or any vocation related discernments.
